Zein Obagi, MD is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of many academies and societies in the United States and abroad, with over 30-years of experience in dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin rejuvenation, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Obagi developed the concept of Skin Health Restoration and the standard by which skin conditions can be successfully treated regardless of skin color or age.

Professional Experience
It may be surprising to hear, but dermatology was not where Dr. Obagi began his illustrious career. After medical school, Dr. Obagi began practicing in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he trained for one year. At the end of one year, Dr. Obagi moved on to the field of pathology, where he completed his residency before shifting focus to his passion, dermatology. As a resident in dermatology, Dr. Obagi served in the United States Navy until 1981, when he moved into private practice. Dr. Obagi has maintained his practice in Beverly Hills since 1989- the aesthetics capitol of the world. Dr. Obagi has developed a series of definitive prevention and maintenance programs that have revolutionized skin restoration treatments and contributed to our understanding of skin health.
His newest product line, ZO Skin Health™, provides individualized skin care products that focus on prevention and maintenance and bridges the gap between his therapeutic medical program and daily skin care, providing for comprehensive anti-aging skin care unlike anything else available.
