For added benefit, Dr. Obagi recommends:

• Exfoliating Polish™ from ZO Skin Health:
  After washing face in the AM, apply a small amount to wet face and gently rub for one minute to exfoliate away dead skin and surface debris. Skin will feel softer and smoother after each use.

For comfort, Dr. Obagi recommends:

• Ommerse Daily Renewal Crème™ OR Ommerse Overnight Recovery Crème™:
  Apply as needed to soothe and calm irritated skin. In the AM and PM, apply after CLENZIderm M.D.^® Serum Gel.

For sun protection, Dr. Obagi has conceived and brought to market 3 distinct sunscreens, each with unique properties.

Sun protection should used in the AM after CLENZIderm M&^®.D. Serum Gel.

1. Obagi Nu-Derm^® Healthy Skin SPF 35 (white tint on some skin tones) OR
2. Obagi-C^® Rx Sunguard™ (transparent) OR
3. Oclipse™ from ZO Skin Health (skin tone tint)

For advanced repair and enhanced results, Dr. Obagi recommends:

• Retinoic Acid 0.1% (tretinoin, Complex A) mixed with Nu-Derm Blender^® Rx required

• Retinoic Acid: Treats skin discoloration associated with acne scars, renews and beautifies skin.
• Obagi^® Nu-Derm Blender^®: Increases the penetration of retinoic acid and helps to even out skin tone (must be mixed with retinoic acid).
• Mix 1/2 - 1 Gram retinoic acid with 1/2 gram Blender^® and apply to face nightly for faster repair.
  ***1 Gram is equal to 1" of thick toothpaste.
