ABOUT DR. ZEIN OBAGI
Researcher, innovator, scientist, published author, and board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Obagi has achieved international renown as a leading authority on skin rejuvenation. He ranks perhaps as the world’s best known chemical peel expert, he pioneered the concept of maintaining and improving healthy skin (as opposed to focusing on the treatment of diseased skin), and he is credited with devising a novel method for successfully treating ethnic skin.
After completing his dermatology residency while serving in the United States Navy, Dr. Obagi embarked on his dermatology practice in 1981. Since 1989, he has been based in Beverly Hills—arguably the aesthetics capital of the world today—where he has developed a series of definitive prevention and maintenance programs that have revolutionized skin restoration treatments and contributed to our understanding of skin health.
Dr. Obagi has trained and lectured to thousands of plastic surgeons and dermatologists at scientific forums worldwide; in addition, he provides clinical services and physician-training programs on-site at various Obagi-based medical centers on six continents.
